The post office inside the Municipal Building is a Contract Postal Unit (CPU) that is run by the City. Our CPU is staffed with city employees, not postal workers. We are contracted through the Freeport post office in Clearfield, which is the delivering post office for Syracuse City residents.
Services
We sell stamps and accept packages including international packages. Prepaid letters or packages can be dropped off at our location inside City Hall. There is also a mailbox outside city hall on the curb where you can drop off letters.
We are not responsible for mail delivery, including lost or damaged mail. All mail delivery is handled by the Freeport post office at 391 E 1700 S.
If you have a QR code to scan, you will need to take your package up to the Freeport post office.
